Choco-Story Uxmal and the magic of this area


In the south of Yucatan, a unique and magical archaeological site emerges spectacularly, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1996, we are referring to Uxmal.

This ancient Mayan city is a jewel of architecture, studied by many for its majestic and incredible structures such as:

In addition to visiting this archaeological site, as part of your journey we invite you to Choco-Story Uxmal to immerse yourself in a tour to learn about the history of Maya chocolate, visit the rooms and try a drink of the delicious Chokoj Ha, prepared in the traditional way and to which you can add delicious spices.

The museum's reception is a replica of the old Hacienda Uxmal built around the XVI century, it maintains its architecture intact in honor of its colonial and Mayan past.

Choco-Story Uxmal also offers 2 workshops to become a chocolatier for 1 day:

 

Basic "Creative" Workshop

Where you can have fun creating your own chocolates for 1 hour, children from 5 years old and adults of all ages can participate.

Belgian Chocolate" Professional Workshop

In which you will prepare and mold your own "praline" chocolates with a duration of 2 hours for adults and children from 12 years old.
