A chocolate museum in the heart of Valladolid
Choco-Story Valladolid is just a few steps from the main square, on one of the streets in the center of this “magical town.” Inside, thirteen rooms tell the story of cacao in chronological order: how it was drunk in a Mayan home, how it served as currency at the market, how it crossed the ocean and ended up at the royal court, and how it became the industrial chocolate bar we know today.The tour lasts about 45 minutes and ends with a tasting of artisanal chocolate.

Do you accept groups and schools?
Yes. Groups of 8 or more are considered a group. You can book directly through the online booking system or contact us to make arrangements.
What's included in the ticket price?
The tour of the museum's galleries and the artisanal chocolate tasting at the end. The explanations are available in five languages.
How long does the tour last?
About 45 minutes.
How much is admission?
General admission is $210 MXN. Reduced-price tickets are available for $145 for students, adults over 60, and residents of Yucatán (upon presentation of a valid ID or identification card), and for $100 for children ages 6 to 12. Children under 6 enter for free.
What are the hours? Are you open on Mondays?
We are open seven days a week, from 9:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Last admission is at 7:00 p.m.
On December 24 and 31, we close at 3:30 p.m. We are closed on December 25 and January 1.
